Sweetened Condensed Milk Substitute

By Diana Rattra, About. com Guide  I have used this many times and it's great--Dixie

If you don't have sweetened condensed milk on hand, this simple recipe will make the equivalent of a
14-oz. can.

Here's How:
1. Pour 1/2 cup of boiling water into a blender
2. Add 1 cup o nonfat dry milk
3. Add 2/3 cup sugar
4. Add 3 T. of melted butter
5. Add a few drops of vanilla
6. Cover and blend on high speed for 30 seconds or until smooth
7. Remove from the blender
8. Use in a recipe immediately or store in a covered container in the refrigerator
