SUGAR COOKIES

Grandma Norma Vance’s Favorite Roll out cookies
The only recipe she used.
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Crisco
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Pd Sugar
2 eggs-beaten
2-3 tsp Vanilla
4 1/2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cream of Tarter

Cream Butter and Crisco, add both sugars, cream till fluffy. Add the eggs. Mix all till soft and fluffy. Add the other ingredients. Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 350o Cook till Lt Golden.

This recipe Norma read to me and said she always wanted to try it, but never did. If you make it, let us all know what tasters think….
Wonderful Sugar Cookies ( from Wife of Seminary teacher)

2 Cups Sour Cream
1 Cup Crisco
3 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Buttermilk
3 eggs
1 tsp B Powder
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 Tsp Soda
Dash Salt
8 Cups Flour

Combine all but flour with mixer. Add the flour. Roll ¼” thick. 350o 10 minutes. Let cool, Frost
